About the Conference

The College of Engineering (COE), National University of Science and Technology (NU), Oman, proudly presents the 2nd International Conference on Advanced Technology (ICAT 2027), scheduled from 3–4 February 2027 at the prestigious Hormuz Grand Hotel, Muscat, Oman.

ICAT 2027 is envisioned as a premier global platform bringing together researchers, academicians, industry experts, policymakers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, present innovations, and discuss emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence and advanced technologies.

The conference aligns strongly with Oman Vision 2040, supporting national priorities in digital transformation, technological innovation, and sustainable development.

Authors Information

General Instructions

  • Authors must submit papers following the prescribed IEEE template format
  • Final manuscript must be in English, max 8 pages including figures
  • Papers must be submitted through the official conference submission link
  • Submissions must be original and unpublished work
  • All papers undergo a double-blind peer review process
  • Accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library
  • At least one author must register and present the paper at the conference
  • Non-presented papers will not be submitted to IEEE Xplore (IEEE no-show policy)
  • Selected extended papers will be published in Web of Science / Scopus indexed journals

Registration Details

  • At least one author must register for each accepted paper
  • Multiple authors attending must register separately as a listener
  • Certificates (hardcopy/softcopy) provided only to registered participants
  • Each registration is valid for one paper only
  • Maximum of three papers per author is permitted
  • No refund will be provided after payment
